A custom Chesterfield at Chester & Stone means you choose the silhouette, piece size, seat depth, upholstery family, and color—then we build that exact configuration. Color does not change the price. Cognac leather is the default swatch because our hero photography is shot in that color.
What you can customize
Every Chester & Stone Chesterfield is built to the configuration you select at checkout. The catalog is intentionally focused: six styles, four furniture shapes, four upholstery families, and two seat depths.
- Styles: Classic, Camelback, Modern Low Profile, Sloped Arm, Square Arm, Tufted Seat
- Shapes: Sofa, Loveseat, Armchair, Ottoman
- Fabrics: Vegan Leather, Velvet, Full Grain Leather, Italian Top Grain Leather
- Seat depth: Regular or Deep
- Color: wide swatch list; price is the same across colors
Lead time and process
Custom-made orders typically take 4 to 12 weeks depending on specification and workshop schedule. We keep you updated as the piece progresses. This is not a warehouse sofa that ships next day—it is built after you order.
Pricing principles
Price moves with style group, furniture shape, fabric family, and seat depth. Vegan Leather and Velvet share the same price band. Full Grain and Italian Top Grain step up from there. Changing Cognac to Black or Burgundy does not change the price.

Yes. Chester & Stone builds each piece after you configure and order it. Expect a made-to-order timeline rather than immediate warehouse dispatch.
Can I get a color that is not Cognac?
Yes. Cognac is the default because the main product photos use that leather. You can switch to any published swatch on the product page; color does not change the price.
How long does a custom Chesterfield take?
Most custom orders take 4 to 12 weeks. Timing depends on your specification and current workshop load. You receive progress updates during production.
